This Saturday, Spring Soccer Season Starts

Updated: Mar 25, 2022

We made it! The season will officially kick off this Saturday, March 26th with the first games beginning at 830AM. Couple things to keep in mind :

  • SCHEDULES ARE POSTED under the schedule tab at https://www.roswellsoccer.org/schedule Find your age group and check out your schedule. Home team is listed first, wears RED and sets up the nets as necessary. Away team is listed second, wears BLUE and helps take down the nets at the end of the last game of the day and clean up the fields (pick up trash, haul in cones, trashcans and equipment). The league is run by volunteers, so all help is appreciated and needed.

  • JERSEY SALE - Blue/Red reversible jerseys will be sold for $15 (new) from 530-7PM on Friday, March 25th at Cielo Grande Park, Concession Area. CASH & PayPal (w/fee) are only accepted form of payment. RYSA recycles and welcomes trade-in jerseys which we will purchase from you for $5 and we will resell for $5 to anyone who wants to be "green" and give the jersey new life. Ask us if we have any on hand when you show up!

  • REFEREES - if you are interested in becoming a referee for RYSA, please sign up on our website. If you have already signed up to be a ref and haven't heard from anyone at RYSA, please message us ASAP so we can get you scheduled. Parents and older siblings are welcome to become referees as we have heard from some of you, that you would do a great job - Join us :)

  • RYSA does not allow dogs on the fileds. Please leave your dogs at home.

  • Coaches - help us contain the sidelines. We ask that everyone work on bringing their best attitude out to the fields, encouraging the children at play, not discouraging. Remember, many of the referees are kids, too! Here is a link to info for parents of soccer kids : http://www.nmysa.net/TopNav/Parents/parented.htm
