This letter is a quick overview of important items you should know for this season.

Details the basic expectations of all coaches regarding practice, game day, and issue resolution. Also included is the Coach Code of Conduct. All coaches are responsible to abide by these expectations. If you feel you are unable to meet these expectations, please contact the board at rysa@roswellsoccer.org and a replacement will be found.

This file includes our policy on lightning, other safety issues and our pet policy.

While we encourage coaches to find ways to avoid rescheduling games (by utilizing an approved assistant coach or asking for a substitute coach from the board), in the event that a game must be rescheduled please reference this policy for how to request a reschedule.

Use this form to file a written complaint to the board. Completed forms can be submitted in person or emailed to rysa@roswellsoccer.org.

The Roswell Youth Soccer Association (the “Association”) is a nonprofit organization that relies on volunteer coaches and participants. All coaches, volunteers, players, and other participants act in an individual capacity unless expressly authorized in writing by the Association. Any statements, representations, communications, or conduct by such individuals—whether verbal, written, or online—are their own and do not necessarily reflect the views, policies, or positions of the Association.

To the fullest extent permitted under applicable law, including New Mexico law, the Association disclaims responsibility for any unauthorized acts, omissions, statements, commitments, or representations made by coaches, volunteers, or participants. This includes, but is not limited to, matters involving instruction, supervision, safety, medical guidance, transportation, financial commitments, or communications with third parties.

Nothing stated or done by any coach, volunteer, or participant shall be construed as creating any contractual obligation, waiver of rights, or binding commitment on behalf of the Association unless expressly approved in writing by an authorized representative of the Association.

While volunteers may receive certain legal protections when acting in good faith and within the scope of authorized duties, such protections do not extend to conduct that is outside assigned responsibilities or that involves reckless, willful, or intentional misconduct. Further, under applicable law, the Association may still be subject to claims arising from the acts or omissions of individuals acting on its behalf.

Participation in Association activities is voluntary. Participants and their parents or guardians acknowledge and assume responsibility for their own decisions and actions. The Association disclaims liability to the fullest extent permitted by law for any injury, loss, or damages arising from the acts or omissions of coaches, volunteers, or participants that are outside the scope of officially sanctioned duties, policies, and programs.
