FIFA REFEREE LAWS AS ADAPTED BY THE RYSA

The Season Games are played on Saturdays. Report at 7:30 am for field assignments. Games normally end around 1:00 pm
Referee will be loaned equipment and a gold t-shirt for use during the games. Referees must bring these items with them on game days.

Use discretion if a “problem” individual corrects his or her own behavior. If behavior becomes unreasonable or to the point that the game should not continue, stop the game and issue a yellow card to the coach for parent or coach behavior. Issue a yellow card to individual players if the player’s behavior is a problem. If necessary, inform both coaches that play will be stopped to summon a board member or senior referee to resolve a problem.

Team captains may ask what call is made, no other comments need a response from the referee. You may also request that a board member be present at the game if you anticipate problems.
